My Creative Space

This week in my creative space with only 4 and a half weeks to go it is all about getting ready for christmas. I have the christmas decorations happening and on the 1st of december the christmas tress will certainly go up. I just love this festive time of year, setting up the christmas tree, making the christmas decorations being able to eat whatever you want because you actually have an excuse and ofcourse spending time with family and friends.



This is my cross stitch christmas decoration hopefully this will be finished by christmas at the moment it is a work in progress. I have about six of these to do but am aiming for at least one a year as it is very time consuming and i have other things on the go at the same time.




This is my beaded fabric decoration. I learnt how to do these at a workshop at the craft and sewing show earlier in the year. I have since been trying to find the little heart buttons that i have sewn on the front with not much luck as yet.





Here is some more fabric that i will eventually turn into more fabric decorations

    That's a lovely cross stitch, alot of hours involved in that!... christmas is on my mind too, we already have the trees due to the constant pestering of my boys :)

    Beautiful cross stitch! I used to enjoy it but afraid now, unless I get some good glasses, I wouldn't be able to see well enough!

    i know cross stitch does take up a lot of time i don't do it no where near as much as i used to but i find it relaxing sitting in front of the tellie doing my needlework
